BALTIMORE CITY

* THEFT: Southwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 1200 block of N. Dukeland St. Wednesday and stole a purse containing $70 from a bedroom.

* ASSAULT: Southwestern District -- A resident of the 900 block of Franklintown Road was in the 600 block of Poplar Grove St. Wednesday when he was attacked by several men who struck him with their fists and a bottle.

* ARREST: Northeastern District -- A 36-year-old resident of the 2900 block of Shirey Ave. was arrested at his home Wednesday on a search and seizure warrant and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. In addition to a small amount of marijuana being seized, police confiscated at least 15 rifles, shotguns and handguns, hundreds of rounds of various size ammunition, scopes, rifle clips and $500. The weapons were to be examined by police to determine if any were stolen, used in a crime or purchased illegally. Police said a 9mm Glock semi-automatic handgun loaded with 15 Black Talon bullets is suspected of being a stolen city police handgun. Richard James Rozankowski was held overnight at the police station pending a bail hearing.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Stereo equipment valued at more than $100 was stolen from a house in the 600 block of McKewin Ave. Wednesday by someone who entered through a rear door.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Two bikes valued at $100 each were stolen from a garage in the 1000 block of Deer Ridge Drive Wednesday by someone who used a pair of bolt cutters to break a lock.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the first block of E. Seminary Ave. in Lutherville, Baltimore County, was in the 900 block of Gorsuch Ave. Wednesday when a man stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $50.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 4100 block of Fallstaff Road was in the 6500 block of Reisterstown Road Wednesday when she was robbed of cash and property, all valued at nearly $200, by two men, one with a handgun.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* BANK ROBBERY: Cockeysville Precinct -- A man robbed the Signet Bank in the 9900 block of York Road of an undisclosed sum of money Wednesday. After entering the bank around 10:15 a.m., the man pulled a green turtle neck sweater up to his face and ordered a teller to give him money. The man escaped in an unknown model Chevrolet.

* ROBBERY: Parkville Precinct -- A gunman forced two customers back inside Northfield Savings & Loan in the 8700 block of Harford Road Wednesday and then robbed at least two teller stations of an undisclosed sum of money. Before he escaped with a white trash bag containing the money, the gunman ordered employees and customers to stand against a wall.

HARFORD COUNTY

* THEFT: Bel Air -- A yellow 1993 Case back-hoe valued at $45,000 was stolen from the construction site of Heritage Auto Mall in the 700 block of Bel Air Road either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. The vehicle is owned by Lease It of Main St. in Reisterstown, Baltimore County.
