A fire Tuesday afternoon in a paint booth at the Taney Corp. in Taneytown caused about $1,000 damage, fire officials said.
Equipment from Taneytown, Harney and Union Bridge, plus Littlestown and Kingsdale of Adams County, Pa. responded to the fire on Allendale Lane in the Taneytown Industrial Development Area. The blaze was confined to the spray booth, fire officials said.
A similar fire erupted at the same painting booth last week, but was extinguished before fire engines arrived.
No one was injured in Tuesday's incident.
Fire units were out for one hour.
