A construction worker who was injured when a piece of equipment tipped over and pinned him to the ground Tuesday was in fair condition yesterday at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said.
James Anthony Harding, 43, of the 900 block of Burnette Ave. in Arnold was flown by a Maryland State Police helicopter to Shock
Trauma after the 2:30 p.m. accident.
He was operating a roller at a construction site just south of Route 450 near the Interstate 97 overpass, police said.
The roller, which was on a muddy, steep incline, turned over.
Mr. Harding tried to jump off but was hit by the roller's roof.
His co-workers used a front-end loader to free him before county paramedics arrived, police said.
