Suspects sought in Sunday slaying
BALTIMORE -- Police say they are looking for suspects in the slaying of a 37-year-old man who was fatally shot Sunday in the 1600 block of N. Chapel St.
James Edward Cary of the 300 block of E. North Ave. was shot several times in the chest about 8:20 p.m. Sunday while at a Chapel Street residence, police said.
He staggered out of the house and was found lying on the street, they said.
Mr. Cary was pronounced dead about three hours later. Police said the motive might have been retaliation for a previous robbery.
