A Glen Burnie youth was slightly wounded in a drive-by shooting Friday afternoon at Crain Highway and Crainmont Drive, county police said.

Terrell Cromwell, 16, of the 8000 block of Nolpark Court was treated at North Arundel Hospital for a wound to his left buttock and released, police said.

Young Cromwell and a friend were walking on Crainmont Drive about 5 p.m. when four youths pulled up beside them in a red Dodge, police said. The driver asked Mr. Cromwell and his friend what they were looking at. One of the passengers then fired three shots from a handgun of undetermined caliber, and one shot hit the victim, police said.

The Cromwell youth ran to his home with his friend, and his parents drove him to the hospital, police said. The victim did not know the assailants, police said.

Man hit by one car, run over by another

A Baltimore man who was hit by at least two cars as he tried to cross Ritchie Highway Friday evening was in fair condition yesterday morning at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, police said.

Andra Alinso Odoms, 29, of the 1500 block of Burnwood Road walked into the path of a 1987 Plymouth as he crossed Ritchie Highway near Vernon Avenue around 6 p.m. Friday. The car, driven by Jeffrey Clinton Klohr, 29, of the 300 block of Georgia Ave., in Glen Burnie, knocked him to the ground, police said.

As Mr. Odoms lay on the ground, he was struck by a car driven by Anthony Dean Sos, 33, of the 300 block of Cool Breeze Court in Pasadena, police said. Mr. Sos, whose 1993 Chevrolet had been several cars behind Mr. Klohr's, told police he thought several other cars might have struck the victim, police said.

No charges will be filed, police said.
