Gallaudet rallies by Salisbury STATE MEN

Mike Kent scored 29 points and grabbed a game-high 15 rebounds to lead visiting Gallaudet to a 78-75 victory over Salisbury State (3-4, 0-2) in a Capital Athletic Conference men's basketball game last night.

Salisbury had one final possession to tie the game but failed to get off a shot.

Kyle Jefferson (Hammond) led Salisbury State with 28 points. Casey Musick (Cardinal Gibbons) had 12 assists and seven steals.

4 Gallaudet is 5-3 overall, 2-0 in the conference.

* Goucher 88, Gettysburg 68: David Clark (Catonsville) scored 15, lifting visiting Goucher College (5-3) past Gettysburg (5-2) in a nonconference game.

* Western Maryland 71, St. Mary's 66: Freshman Will Marshall (Sparrows Point) scored a season-high 16 to lead Western Maryland (4-3) over St. Mary's (3-3) in a nonconference game.
