* ROBBERY: Northern District -- Police were seeking a couple who robbed the Value Village Thrift Shop in the 5000 block of York Road of an undisclosed sum of money Tuesday. One of the robbers was armed with an unknown weapon.

* SCHOOL BURGLARY: Northern District -- A camera and recorder, all valued at more than $400, were stolen Tuesday from Waverly Elementary School in the 3400 block of Ellerslie Ave.

* THEFT/ARREST: Northern District -- Police arrested a man who attempted to leave Woolworth's department store in the 3200 block of Greenmount Ave. Tuesday without paying for property valued at $25.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Police were seeking a man known as "Kenny" who robbed two people of cash and property, all valued at more than $500, at knifepoint while the victims were inside a car parked Tuesday in the 5500 block of Elderon Ave.

* BURGLARY: Northwestern District -- Property valued at $175 was stolen Monday from St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church in the 4500 block of Park Heights Ave.

BALTIMORE COUNTY

* BURGLARY: White Marsh Precinct -- A coin box from a laundry appliance in the basement of an apartment building in the first block of Catoctin Court was stolen over the weekend.

* ROBBERY: North Point Precinct -- A man who implied he had a handgun robbed the Horn & Horn cafeteria in the 7900 block of Eastern Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money Tuesday night.

* PURSE SNATCHING: Woodlawn Precinct -- A 60-year-old resident of Marriottsville was walking to her car in the 1100 block of Rolling Road Tuesday when one of two men approached her from behind and stole her purse containing cash and property, all valued at $70. The men drove off in a maroon Saturn.

* BURGLARY: Woodlawn Precinct -- Computer equipment valued at nearly $2,000 was stolen from Deva's School of the Performing Arts in the 9000 block of Liberty Road over the weekend.
