The Crofton Athletic Council board of directors is asking anyone who paid cash for a family membership or to register for an individual sport within the last five years to give that information to board members.
Some of the records for the organization from mid-1989 to mid-1994 are missing and board members want to be sure that none of the funds was misappropriated, Dennis R. Robin, an attorney for the council said Monday.
The council will mail letters to members asking them the amount of the cash paid, the month and year they paid it and whether the payment was for a family membership or for registration for an individual sport.
Former CAC members who want their contributions checked may mail their information to Dennis R. Robin, 2131 Defense Highway, Crofton, Md. 21114 or call the CAC answer call at (410) 721-9412.
