* THEFT: Northern District -- A man stole several movie tapes from Blockbuster video in the 5900 block of York Road and set off an alarm as he ran out the door. The alarm was activated by a security sensor attached to the tapes.

* THEFT: Northern District -- A deliveryman for Papa John's pizza in the 300 block of E. 33rd St. was in the 500 block of E. 35th St. Monday when a man stole the pizza he was carrying. The pizza was valued at more than $5.

* BURGLARY: Northern District -- Someone entered a house in the 700 block of Melville Ave. through a rear door window Monday and stole a 19-inch TV and a microwave oven, all valued at nearly $700.

* ROBBERY: Northern District -- A resident of the first block of Middleton Court was working on a computer in his house Monday night when he heard a noise coming from the basement. Believing it was the washing machine, he returned to his work and then noticed a man standing in the hallway. When the resident ordered the man out of his house, the intruder forced the occupant into a bedroom, threw him down onto the floor and robbed him of his wallet, watch, cash and credit cards before fleeing.

* THEFT: Northwestern District -- Someone entered a house in the 2900 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Monday and stole jewelry valued at nearly $600.

* ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed the Forest Park cleaners in the 3300 block of Garrison Blvd. of an undisclosed sum of money Monday.

Baltimore County

* ASSAULT: North Point Precinct -- A resident of the 6600 block of Detroit Ave. was in the 7400 block of German Hill Road Monday night when an occupant of a passing car with dealer tags pointed a handgun at him.

* BURGLARY: Parkville Precinct -- Someone entered a house in the 1800 block of Wycliffe Road through the front door Monday morning and stole a brief case reportedly valued at $700.
