Gunman robs station on Hospital Drive
A gunman wearing a beige ski mask robbed a gas station on Hospital Drive yesterday morning of an undisclosed amount of money, county police said.
The man walked into the Shell station about 9:30 a.m., pulled out a handgun and ordered the clerk to give him money. The gunman grabbed a bag of money from a drawer and struck the clerk on the back of the head with the gun before fleeing, police said.
Exxon gas station robbed by gunman
A gunman robbed an Exxon gas station Friday night and took an undisclosed amount of money, county police said.
The man walked into the station, in the 7700 block of Quarterfield Road, shortly after 8:30 p.m. When the clerk asked him if he needed something, he pulled out a handgun and told her to give him money, police said.
The gunman forced the clerk to sit on the floor behind the cash register as he fled. The clerk activated the holdup alarm as she sat behind the counter, police said.
