Associate of the year is Bill Burk, of Monumental Millwork Inc. in Westminster.

The association's departing president, Clark Turner, was recognized for his achievements during his term, including the launch of the Dream Homes '94 event this summer in Owings Mills and a yearlong study of the building industry's impact on Central Maryland's economy.
