FDU defeats UMES, 72-65

HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Antwan Dasher led four players in double figures with 18 points as Fairleigh Dickinson defeated visiting UMES, 72-65, in the men's basketball opener for both teams last night.

Dasher scored four points during a 13-3 run, turning a 53-49 lead into a 66-52 advantage. Elijah Allen came off the Fairleigh Dickinson bench to contribute 12 points and three assists. Duane Posey and Rashon Turner had 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Aaron McKinney scored 16 points to lead UMES. John Woods and Terrell Harris each added 12.
