Inspectors for the county Department of Health conduct periodic reviews of restaurants and food preparation establishments to monitor sanitary and physical conditions.
The county inspected 112 facilities from Nov. 1 to Nov. 15. Thirteen establishments had violations requiring action by the owner:
* Ann's Dari Creme, 7900 block of Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie. Food not properly cooled. Reinspection required.
* Carlson's Pastries, 100 block of Mayo Road, Edgewater. Food not kept at proper temperature.
* Deno's Pizza, 1600 block of Annapolis Road, Odenton. Food not kept at proper temperature.
* Discovery Zone, Forest Drive, Annapolis. Food not kept at proper temperature.
* Dragon Garden, 600 block of Old Mill Road, Millersville. Food not kept at proper temperature.
* Everything Yogurt and Salad Cafe, Annapolis Mall, Annapolis. Food workers not following hand-washing rules or workers not free of illness.
* Hunan Express, 1100 block of Route 3 North, Gambrills. Food not kept at proper temperature.
* Italian Sunlight, 7700 block of B & A Blvd., Glen Burnie. Food not kept at proper temperature; food not from an approved source.
* Kentucky Fried Chicken, 8200 block of Route 3 North, Millersville. Food not kept at proper temperature.
* Regina's Deli and Restaurant, 100 block of Admiral Cochran Drive, Annapolis. Food workers not following hand-washing rules workers not free of illness.
* Roy Rogers, 7300 block of B & A Blvd., Glen Burnie. Food workers not following hand-washing rules or workers not free of illness.
* 7-Eleven, 1500 block of Annapolis Road, Odenton. Food not kept at proper temperature.
