* Anne Arundel farmers are busy preparing for another season. ** Some are hauling manure and lime while others are hauling corn, hay and straw. Hog killing is a daily occurrence now. -- The Sun, Dec. 1, 1894

* The Anne Arundel Teachers' Association met at the courthouse in Annapolis with 65 teachers present. John C. Bannon, the examiner, cautioned them against excessive use of fuel in the classrooms before delivering their quarterly checks for salaries for the last term. -- The Sun, Dec. 7, 1894.

* Chesapeake Tribe No. 32, Improved Order of Red Men, of Annapolis, yesterday entertained in royal style, the Great Chiefs of the other fraternal lodges of the state of Maryland. -- The Sun, Dec. 14, 1894.
