County police arrested a Glen Burnie man and three others on drug charges early Friday after they stopped their car and found about $800 worth of suspected PCP.
Officers said they stopped the 1994 Jeep Cherokee at Ritchie Highway and Orchard Avenue in Brooklyn Park at 2:40 a.m. and smelled chemicals and alcohol.
They arrested the driver, Leroy Mueller Jr., 39, of the 800 block of Geis Circle in Glen Burnie, on drunken driving charges, then searched the vehicle and found the alleged drugs, packaged in 11 plastic bags, police said.
Police arrested the passengers, Charles Henry Chenowith Jr., 38, of the 1500 block of Patapsco Ave.; Steve Cudnik, 38, of the 2200 block of Bel Air Road; and Cynthia Delores Cudnik, 34, of the 5100 block of Brockwood Road, all of Baltimore, on charges of possession and possession with intent to distribute PCP. The same charges were also filed against Mr. Mueller.
Two assault man at shopping center
County police are looking for two men who assaulted and robbed a Severn man Thursday in the Southgate Shopping Center parking lot on Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie.
According to a police report, Francis Burkhardt, 46, of the 1100 block of Burkhardt Lane was walking to his car about 5:20 p.m. when two men hit him on the head.
Police say the men took Mr. Burkhardt's money.
Gunman robs man in gas station lot
A gunman held up a Glen Burnie man on the parking lot of an Exxon station on Quarterfield Road Thursday night, county police said.
A man approached Daryl Jerman, 29, of the 7800 block of Woodside Terrace at 5:50 p.m., drew a .22-caliber handgun, demanded money, then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
