Arthur L. Rubeor, an agent and financial counselor for CIGNA insurance company, died Wednesday of cancer at his Towson home. He was 69.
Associated with the insurance company for nearly 30 years, he was a former president of the Baltimore chapter of Chartered Life Underwriters and was also a chartered financial counselor.
Born and reared in Hinsdale, N.H., he served in the Navy aboard a tanker in the Pacific during World War II. In 1949, he received a business degree from Babson College in Boston.
Mr. Rubeor came to Baltimore in 1962 as a salesman for Colgate-Palmolive Co. In 1965, he became a salesman for McCormick & Co.
Services were to be held at 11 a.m. today at Ruck Towson Funeral Home, 1050 York Road.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, the former Catherine E. Totas; two sons, Arthur L. Rubeor Jr. of Towson and Robert Rubeor of Forest Hill; a daughter, Mary Walters of Catonsville; a sister, Marion E. Kirk of Lake Wales, Fla.; and three grandchildren.
