POLICE
* Westminster: A resident of Poole Road told city police someone stole two citizen band antennas from vehicles parked at his house Wednesday. He estimated the loss at $140.
An employee of the Pet Palace in Cranberry Mall reported that someone stole a 12-week-old kitten from the open shop about 7:15 p.m. Monday. The animal, described as a seal-point Himalayan, cream in color with chocolate-colored ears, tail and paws, was valued at $375. The kitten was taken from a cage after several other cages containing puppies were pushed aside, the employee told city police.
A resident of South Pleasant Valley Road reported someone broke into her auto while it was parked on Carroll Street and stole property valued at $120 Monday.

* Westminster: Engines from Westminster, Reese and Pleasant Valley were dispatched to investigate the odor of gas in a house in the first block of Charles St. at 2:51 p.m. yesterday. Units were out for 12 minutes.
Engines from Westminster and Reese were dispatched to investigate the report of a fire alarm sounding in a building on East Main Street at 2:39 p.m. Thursday. Units were out for 13 minutes.
Westminster firefighters investigated a smoke detector sounding in a building in the 200 block of Garden Way at 4:51 a.m. Thursday. Units were out for 27 minutes.
