NBA -- Fined Chicago Bulls coach Phil Jackson $10,000 for saying that referee Hue Hollins' performance during Saturday's game with the Dallas Mavericks was "brutish" and "irresponsible."
Boston Celtics -- Activated G Tony Harris. Placed G Sherman Douglas on the injured list with a strained medial collateral ligament.
Charlotte Hornets -- Signed G Greg Sutton. Waived F Joe Courtney. Announced that F Kenny Gattison has a sprained cervical spine after being elbowed during a game Monday night; he will be out at least a week.
Dallas Mavericks -- Activated F-C Roy Tarpley from the injured list.
