Hunan Manor raises $12,000 for charity
Hunan Manor in Columbia raised $12,000 in contributions for the disAbility Awareness Project, which was created to challenge stereotypes of people with disabilities.
The contributions will benefit around 8,500 Howard County Public School students.

Smith, Walker join bank's lending division
John Smith and Vickie Walker have joined Columbia Bank's lending division as mortgage directors. Both will work with Realtors and builders in Howard and Carroll counties as well as new home owners through settlement.
Mr. Smith, an Ellicott City resident, serves on several councils in the Home Builders Association of Maryland.
Ms. Walker, a Columbia residents, is a member of the Howard County Association of Realtors and the Women's Council of Realtors.
Brown, Gregory join Trafalgar sales staff
Trafalgar House, Residential Maryland has appointed Karen Brown of Ellicott City and Paul Gregory of Baltimore to its sales staff.
Ms. Brown, who has worked for Pulte Homes and Ryan Homes, will be a sales consultant at Willowood in Elkridge.
Mr. Gregory, who was previously with Centex Homes, will be a sales consultant at Mayfair near Towson.
