SHOOTING: Northeastern District -- A 32-year-old resident of the 2000 block of E. 31st St. was shot in the leg in the 2900 block of Harford Road Tuesday night by a man who asked him for change and then pulled out a sawed-off shotgun. The victim was running away when he sustained minor pellet wounds.
ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- Police were seeking an unlicensed taxi driver who picked up a woman in the 4900 block of Edmondson Ave. Tuesday, drove her to a street at Hollander Ridge and struck her with an auto anti-theft device. He took her leather coat, her purse and its contents, all valued at nearly $200.
THEFT: Northwestern District -- Someone stole a battery valued at $90 from a Ford Escort parked in the 2900 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Tuesday.
STOLEN CAR: Northwestern District -- A gray four-door 1988 Toyota Camry with tags 13716F was stolen Tuesday from the 2500 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway.
ROBBERY/SHOOTING: Northwestern District -- A resident of the 3400 block of Carriage Hill Circle in Randallstown was robbed at gunpoint of $25 and shot in the left leg Tuesday night in the 5000 block of Litchfield Ave.
ROBBERY: Northern District -- A pregnant resident of the 2200 block of Sidney Ave. was knocked to the ground and robbed of her purse Tuesday in the 2600 block of N. Charles St.
SHOOTING: Southern District -- A 24-year-old resident of the 2400 block of Dunfries Court in Cherry Hill was listed in critical condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot during an argument Tuesday night in the 2600 block of Pierpont St.
ARSON: Southern District -- Someone set fire to a house in the 900 block of Seagull Ave. Tuesday by throwing an explosive device onto the rear porch.
ROBBERY TRY: North Point Precinct -- A North Point woman was walking near the playground of a school near Shipway Tuesday when two teen-age boys attempted to steal her purse. When the woman cried out, the youths fled.
ROBBERY: Parkville Precinct -- A gunman robbed the Crown gasoline station in the 2900 block of E. Joppa Road of an undisclosed sum of money Tuesday.
ARSON: Parkville Precinct -- Someone set fire to newspapers in the concourse of an apartment building in the 9300 block of Hallsboro Circle Tuesday morning, causing about $2,000 in damage.
BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- Jewelry and silverware, all valued at $3,000, were stolen from a home in the 2200 block of Boxmere Road Tuesday by someone who entered through the door of an adjoining garage.
