SHOOTING: Southern District -- A 70-year-old resident of the 1800 block of W. Pratt St. was inside his home around 10 p.m. Tuesday when a bullet fired from outside pierced a window and struck him in the left shoulder. The man was listed in stable condition at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center. It was not known if the shooting was deliberate.
ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, robbed a resident of the 3500 block of Cloverdale Ave. of $300 in the 3800 block of Liberty Heights Ave. Tuesday.
Northern District -- Two men posing as employees of a construction firm were arrested Tuesday after they purchased more than $1,000 worth of roofing supplies from Central Building Supply Inc. in the 3900 block of Buena Vista Ave. The men, who had been fired earlier, attempted to buy the items by charging the purchase to their former employer's account. The property was recovered.
Northern District -- A resident of the 1200 block of E. Lafayette Ave. was in the 3200 block of Guilford Ave. Tuesday when a man placed an unknown weapon in her back and robbed her of cash and property, all valued at $40.
ROBBERY: Western District -- An unlicensed taxi driver was robbed Tuesday of $32 and a pager by two men, one with a handgun, in the 2300 block of Tioga Parkway.

ROBBERY/ARRESTS: North Point Precinct -- A 19-year-old man and a 13-year-old boy were arrested Tuesday night as they drove away from an armed robbery at the House of Phong at the Danville Square shopping Center in the 7700 block of Westfield Road. Sergeant Charles Boland spotted the pickup truck as it left the scene and arrested the two without incident. Recovered was nearly $400 taken in the holdup, a .380-caliber handgun, and masks. The youth was sent to the Waxter Juvenile Center in Prince Georges County. The adult was held pending a bail hearing. Both were charged with armed robbery and related offenses.
