A 53-year-old Odenton woman suffered cuts and bruises on her arms and legs Sunday night when she chased two youths who had snatched her purse as she was walking into a 7-Eleven in the 1300 block of Odenton Road, county police said yesterday.
Margaret McKay of the 500 block of Saltoun Ave. had parked her car on the lot of the store about 11:30 p.m. As she walked toward the door, she noticed two youths standing near a pay phone outside, police said.
The pair ran toward her, ripped her purse off her shoulder and kept going.
Ms. McKay told police that no money was in the purse, only credit cards and her driver's license. Western District officers searched the area but could not find the robbers, police said.
