Whitney Phelps, a member of this year's U.S. world championship swimming team, will be among those honored Saturday by Maryland Swimmers Inc. at the 1994 Swimmers of the Year tributes at UMBC.
Phelps, Cedric Taylor and Brad Schertle will receive awards for both short-course and long-course seasons.
Presentations will be made between warm-ups and starts of the NBAC/RAC Fall Festival Classic meet, with the 13-and-over group set to get under way at 7:45 a.m. and the 12-and-under contingent at 1:15 p.m.
