BALTIMORE -- A 25-year-old man was found dead yesterday in Cherry Hill Park, the victim of numerous gunshot wounds, city police said.
Derrick Hughes, 25, of the 3000 block of Southland Road in South Baltimore, was found dead about 5 p.m., lying face down in the grass near the 200 block of Reedbird Ave. by Southern District officers responding to a shooting report.
The victim reportedly had been shot multiple times in the torso.
Police said they had no suspects and knew of no motive for the attack.
