Under investigation by a federal grand jury for bank fraud, Los Angeles Kings minority owner Bruce McNall has agreed to resign as team president and governor, sources told the Daily News yesterday.
The Kings are expected to make the announcement after federal investigators file a criminal information charging McNall with bank fraud, mail fraud and conspiracy. That is likely to happen early next week, sources said.
McNall, 44, could not be reached for comment. Nor could Kings co-owner Joseph Cohen.
