* Winfield: Winfield, Mount Airy, New Windsor and Gamber were dispatched to a 6-acre brush and woods fire in the 1700 block of Bloom Road at 12:13 p.m. Friday. Units were out for three hours. Equipment from Westminster, Reese, Lisbon, Union Bridge and Gamber were transferred to fill in for units at the fire. The cause of the fire is unknown, officials said.
