The former location of SMDA Architects was misidentified in a News in Brief item in Monday's editions. The firm moved from Cathedral Street.

The Sun regrets the errors.

* Baltimore County Reemployment Assistance Center has opened in Dulaney Center II in Towson to aid displaced workers re-entering the job market. The new facility offers workshops, seminars, individual counseling, resume preparation and retraining opportunities, as well as a resources/ reference library. The service is available only to residents of Baltimore County, or to those laid off from a county-located business.

* Ruby's Auto and Truck Service, a fixture in the Old Town/Gay Street neighborhood for more than 45 years, has moved to larger facilities at 2267 Kirk Ave. in Northeast Baltimore.

* Gordon Color Lab announced that it has changed its name to K.C. Color Lab Inc. and is moving to West 23rd St.

* SMDA Architects (Schamu, Machowski, Doo & Associates) has relocated from Pikesville to Morton Street in downtown Baltimore.

* BGE announced the election of Martin L. Glass, president and CEO of Rite Aid Corp., to a seat on the utility's board of directors.

New accounts & contracts

* Spirit Creative Services has received contracts for various publications, logo and exhibit design services from the Kennedy Institute, She Sails, American Boat & Yacht Council and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

* DIGICON Corp. of Bethesda has received a contract to develop administrative management information systems for the National Institute of Arthritis, Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases at the National Institutes of Health.

* Classic To Go Cafe has opened a second location at 17 E. Fayette St.

* Nicholas B. Attias received the Robert Horn Memorial Award for community dedication and commitment by the Pikesville Chamber of Commerce.

* Consulting Engineers Council inducted G. Robert Davidson, Alexander Whitney Jr., Paul E. Cox, Albert B. Gipe, Jack Kinstlinger and Jerome Lamprecht as fellows.
