* Navy's football team scored its most decisive victory yesterday over Notre Dame in its 18-game series by a score of 32-13. Navy's line play made the difference. Its offense was headed by Clyde "Smack-over" Scott. -- The Sun, Nov. 5, 1944.

* The Board of County Commissioners of Anne Arundel County " moved today to exercise for the first time zoning authority delegated to it by the last session of the legislature. The first action in which they propose to establish a restricted residential and agricultural farming area is at Edgewater Beach on the South River. -- The Sun, Nov. 10, 1944.

* The Navy Department announced yesterday that the Army-Navy football game scheduled for Dec. 2 will be shifted from Annapolis to Baltimore. A crowd of nearly 70,000 is expected with tickets selling for $4.80 on a first-come, first-served basis. -- The Sun, Nov. 18, 1944.
