The crush of Saturday holiday shopping extravaganzas continues to tempt even the most prudent shoppers again this weekend in the Pasadena area.
* The Chesapeake High School Band Boosters will sponsor its fifth annual Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow at Chesapeake High School, 4798 Mountain Road.
Over 190 artisans will fill the school cafeteria, gym and hallways offering a wide array of gift items, home accessories, holiday tree trimmers, wreaths and many one-of-a-kind creations.
For unencumbered shopping, free child care will be available throughout the day.
In addition, there will be a bake table stocked with goodies, a kids make-it and take-it craft table, and a menu featuring crab soup and barbecue along with familiar luncheon items and sodas.
The Boosters will also be accepting orders for fresh Florida citrus that will be delivered in early December.
Admission is free, but shoppers are asked to bring one canned or boxed food item to be donated to the band's holiday food drive. All items donated will be given to the food pantry at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church.
* St. Jane Frances School will have its fourth annual Craft Boutique from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow in the school hall on St. Jane Drive.
More than 50 artisans will be selling Thanksgiving, Christmas and year-round decorations and gift items. Crafts featured include wood crafts, stained glass, wreaths, ceramics, toys Victorian dolls, a variety of dried and silk flower items, folk art items and many more.
Sister Mary's Country Cupboard will again offer an assortment of homemade pies, cakes, breads, cookies, jams and jellies.
A Thanksgiving dinner basket with all the trimmings and various craft items donated by participating vendors will be raffled. Tickets are 10 for $1.
The eatery area will feature cold-cut subs, barbecue, hot dogs and beverages.
Proceeds will benefit the school.
* Pasadena United Methodist Church will play host to a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow.
Used collectibles, toys, small appliances, books, puzzles, games, sports equipment and other small household items will be on sale.
Breakfast will be served during morning hours. Open-pit beef will be available for lunch.
Proceeds will benefit Operation Renovation, a project to repair and refurbish the 35-year-old building.

Community United Methodist Church, 8680 Fort Smallwood Road, will serve a ham and oyster supper from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow.
The family-style dinner will feature ham, oysters, vegetables, dessert and beverages.
Homemade cakes and candies, crafts and white elephant items will also be on sale.
Dinner will cost $8.50 for adults, $3 for children age 6 to 12, and $1 for ages 4 and 5. Youngsters under age 4 can eat for free.
Carryouts are available for $9.

The Lake Shore Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary is sponsoring an afternoon bingo luncheon on Sunday at the fire hall on Mountain Road near Lake Shore Drive.
The doors will open at noon, with lunch served from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The menu will feature stuffed chicken breast and other items.
The games will begin at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $20 per person and include food, bingo cards and specials.

Boy Scout Troop 346 has launched a new fund-raising project to support its activities for the coming year . . . home-delivered Christmas trees.
Individual troop members are taking orders for 6-to-8-foot white pines or blue spruce trees delivered to your home on Dec. 3.
"We are guaranteeing satisfaction; the trees will be freshly cut within two weeks of the delivery date," said Ted Chiappelli, a spokesman.
Trees are $25 for white pine, and $50 for blue spruce.

The Northeast Drama Club will present its production of the play, "Radio Daze," by Shirley McNichols, next week in the school auditorium.
Directed by Anna Walker, the new drama coach, the play is set during World War II.
Curtain time is 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings, Nov. 10-12. A Sunday matinee is planned at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 13.
