ROBBERY: Southern District -- A 23-year-old resident of the 2300 block of Norfolk St. was at Pennsylvania Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard about 4 a.m. Wednesday when a motorist stopped and told her he was a hacker and would drive her home. After being given $5 up front for the fare, the driver proceeded at a high rate of speed to the 2500 block of Annapolis Road, where he robbed the woman of $35, two rings and a watch, all valued at more than $400. He then ordered her out of the car and drove off.
SHOOTING: Southern District -- A resident of the 100 block of W. West St. was standing near his home Wednesday evening when he heard several gunshots coming from the 900 block of Leadenhall St. and felt a pain in his left arm. Moments later, a speeding car occupied by three men passed the victim, who was treated at Harbor Hospital Center and released. It was not immediately known if the victim was the intended target.
ROBBERY TRY: Northeastern District -- A woman walking in the 4500 block of Erdman Ave. Wednesday was knocked to the ground by a man who tried to steal her purse. She screamed, and the man fled.
ROBBERY: Western District -- A man was in the 2500 block of N. Monroe St. Wednesday night when two men struck him with their fists and robbed him of keys and cash. The victim was not seriously injured.
ROBBERY: Northern District -- A woman was in the 3100 block of Old York Road Tuesday when a man stole her purse containing more than $400.
BURGLARY/ARREST: Northern District -- Police responding to a burglary in progress at a house in the 800 block of Reverdy Road Wednesday arrested a 30-year-old man.

BURGLARY: Towson Precinct -- A gold necklace valued at $200 and $40 in cash were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 6900 block of Donachie Road.
BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- Nearly 50 compact discs valued at more than $700 and $40 in coins were stolen from a house in the 2900 block of Kidds Schoolhouse Road in Parkton several days ago.
BURGLARY: Cockeysville Precinct -- A camcorder valued at $700 and a Caller ID valued at $70 were stolen Wednesday from a house in the first block of Queens Bridge Court.
STOLEN CAR: Woodlawn Precinct -- A four-door gold 1985 Mazda-626 with tags ZXG 082 was stolen Wednesday from the 8600 block of Gray Fox Road.
