* Westminster: A resident of Baltimore reported to city police someone broke into his car Tuesday while it was parked in the first block of Washington Road and stole property valued at $200.
A resident of East Main Street told city police someone stole her dog from the rear yard of her home Sunday. She valued the animal at $250.
A resident of Westminster Avenue reported to city police someone threw chunks of asphalt at his car while it was parked near his home Sunday. He estimated the damage at $400.
FIRE
* Westminster: Firefighters from the Westminster station responded to a call of wires on fire in the 200 block of W. Main St. at 6:46 a.m. Wednesday. They were out for nine minutes.
Fire volunteers responded to a utility pole on fire at Center and Green streets at 2:34 p.m. Wednesday. They were out for 38 minutes.
Westminster, Reese and Reisterstown of Baltimore County were dispatched to a house off Tannery Road that was crushed when a large tree fell on it during a wind and rain storm at 2:03 p.m. Tuesday. Units were out for two hours and 12 minutes.
