Car stolen by co-worker who said he had a gun

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Westminster police are searching for a man who ordered the owner of a 1990 Nissan Sentra out of his car while indicating he had a gun about 8:45 a.m. Sunday.

Officers said Michael Carlisle, who works for a contractor, reported he was driving a co-worker to Sullivan Avenue and upon arrival asked the man, known only as Glen, to get out.

But the co-worker refused, reached under his shirt as though he had a gun in his waistband and told Mr. Carlisle to get out, police said.

The car owner told police he got out of his car and the man drove away. No weapon was displayed, police said.

The Sentra is valued at $5,000.
