Baltimore man charged with molesting 3 boys

A 26-year-old Baltimore man has been charged with sexually molesting three boys in the Hampstead-Manchester area Oct. 23, state police say.

Daniel G. Brunner of the 5700 block of Pimlico Road was arrested at his home about 3 a.m. Friday.

He was charged with three counts each of third- and fourth-degree sex offense, battery, false imprisonment and one count of carrying a deadly weapon, a hunting-style knife.

State police and members of the Child Abuse/Sexual Assault Unit said they received information that a man had grabbed a child along a road near a wooded area and fondled him.

Two other boys, 11 and 13 years old, were assaulted in a similar manner while their attacker threatened them with a knife, according to court documents.

Mr. Brunner is a former resident of Carroll County who has lived in Baltimore for five years, according to court papers.

Investigators said they confiscated items they believe are related to sexual assaults on the boys, including clothing. They also said they recovered child pornography videotapes.

The defendant, who was being held on $100,000 bail Friday, was identified after a composite sketch was made from a description given by the boys, police said.
