A team of 15 Ocean City police officers and detectives arrested three men Friday night in an apartment at the resort's Beach Pad after a month-long undercover drug investigation involving the federal Drug Enforcement Agency, a police spokesman said.
Arrested were Mike Harmon, 22, of Atlantic, Va., and Kevin L. Blue, 30, and Louis S. Barfield, 37, both of Ocean City, said Sgt. Richard Moreck.
Mr. Harmon and Mr. Blue were charged with cocaine distribution and possession. Mr. Barfield was charged with possession of cocaine. The three were in Worcester County Jail last night, awaiting bond review hearings tomorrow.
Police seized about a half-ounce of cocaine, several hundred dollars, packaging materials and scales, Sergeant Moreck said.
