George C. Milan

Real estate appraiser

George C. Milan, a Baltimore native, died Wednesday of heart failure while visiting a relative in Easton. He was 76 and lived in Rio Pico, Ariz.

He retired in 1991 as a real estate appraiser and moved to Rio Rico. In 1987, he retired from Pride Realty, which he had opened in the early 1980s.

Earlier, he had been an aeronautical engineer and a sales representative for several defense contractors.

He graduated from the Polytechnic Institute in 1936 and from the Johns Hopkins University in 1940.

A Mass of Christian burial was to be offered at 10 a.m. today at the Roman Catholic Church of the Nativity, 1800 Vista Lane, Timonium.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Dorothy Mary Hauk; three sons, Jon E. Milan of Phoenix, Ariz., Roy A. Milan of Bel Air and Noel J. Milan of Annapolis; two brothers, Vincent W. Milan of Baltimore and Dr. Albert R. Milan of Towson; and four grandchildren.
