A 44-year-old man who apparently died of a drug overdose or natural causes was found on the steps of Baltimore's City Hall yesterday, police reported.
There was no sign of foul play, according to police, who said the man appeared to be homeless and an intravenous drug user.
Homicide detectives would not divulge the man's identity until informing his mother of his death.
A passer-by found the man on the steps about noon yesterday.
Police were uncertain how long the man had been dead.
The body was taken to the state medical examiner's office for an autopsy.
