Franklin remains unbeaten with 41-6 rout of Hereford #


Curtis Demetrakis was 7-for-10 passing for 81 yards and three touchdowns to power undefeated Franklin (7-0) over visiting Hereford, 41-6, in football yesterday.

Tim Goins caught two touchdown passes and was 5-for-5 on PATs.

Seven running backs combined for 261 yards. The Inidans' defense made seven sacks and three fumble recoveries.

Towson 21, Milford Mill 14

Matt Behr's 13-yard touchdown reception with 2:38 left lifted visiting Towson (5-2) past Milford Mill (2-5).

Kevin Woods scored two touchdowns for the Millers, including a 98-yard kickoff return.

Parkville 29, Eastern Tech 9

Senior Gladstone Lilly rushed for 114 yards, made 19 tackles and recovered a fumble to help Parkville (2-5) beat visiting Eastern Tech (2-5).

Catonsville 28, Ow. Mills 14

Rhasaan Harcum ran for 183 yards and two touchdowns to lead host Catonsville (4-3) by Owings Mills (2-4).

Sean Horseshwaw also scored twice for the Comets.

Dundalk 28, Patapsco 0

Russell Robinson rushed for 118 yards and Jermaine Jenkins rushed for 109, leading host Dundalk (3-4) past Patapsco (2-5).

Robinson and Jenkins each scored once, and Kevin Underwood had a 70-yard punt return.

Loch Raven 48, Lansdowne 28

Quarterback Ron DeJuliis passed for three touchdowns and ran for another as Loch Raven (1-6) routed host Lansdowne (0-7).

DeJuliis also passed for three two-point conversions. Raiders wide receiver Butch Leibert caught two touchdowns. Vikings quarterback Mike Mullin had 229 yards of total offense. The 28 points scored by Lansdowne was the most for the Vikings in

three years.

Boys' Latin 39, Spalding 13

Sophomore Aaron Vercollone threw for 161 yards and was involved in five touchdown plays to help Boys' Latin (2-5) defeat host Spalding.

Southern-AA 20, North East 7

Junior Bobby Procopio rushed for 152 yards on 21 carries as his host Southern-AA (4-3) topped North East (6-1) of Cecil County. The Bulldogs had 307 yards of total offense.
