BALTIMORE -- A 23-year-old Belair-Edison man was shot to death last night during an argument with two men inside a carry-out in the 2500 block of E. Oliver St., police said.
The victim, Gillrath Boyd, of the 3200 block of Elmora Ave., was arguing with two men outside Woodard's carry-out at 2517 E. Oliver St. around 8:30 p.m. when the argument continued inside the eatery.
As the argument escalated and at least one employee and several customers looked on, one of the men Mr. Boyd was arguing with pulled out a handgun and shot him several times, killing him instantly.
The two men, both dressed in dark clothing, fled the scene.
