HARWOOD -- A man was killed early today when a fire raced through his mobile home in the 4000 block of Solomons Island Road, said a spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
The victim's name was withheld pending notification of relatives. No one else was in the mobile home at the time of the fire. Reported at 12:13 a.m., the single-alarm fire destroyed the mobile home and its contents before being brought under control around 2 a.m.
No injuries were reported among the firefighters.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
