Delmarva restructuring
Delmarva Power & Light Co. announced yesterday that 296 employees had taken an early retirement offer, cutting the Wilmington, Del.-based utility's staffing to about 2,500.
The company says it expects to save $13 million to $17 million annually through a reduced work force.
