Brooklyn Park woman injured during robbery

A Brooklyn Park woman was in satisfactory condition at Harbor Hospital yesterday, recovering from injuries suffered during an assault Sunday night in which her purse and $410 were taken, police said.

Dorothy Caroline Papetti, 52, told police she parked her car in the 5000 block of Ritchie Highway about 8 p.m. and was walking toward Lucky's Convenience Markets when she saw a man walking toward her.

The man lunged at her, pushed her to the ground, grabbed her purse and kicked her, police said.

The man then ran to a black Pontiac waiting behind a nearby store. The care drove off toward 11th Avenue, police said.
