1 man arrested, 3 others sought in abduction

County police have arrested one man, have a warrant for a second man and are seeking the identity of two others in connection with the abduction of two Severn men from a home in Brooklyn Park early Monday, authorities said.

Gregory Andrew Durm, 29, of the 100 block of W. Edgevale Road, Brooklyn Park, was charged with two counts of kidnapping and one count of burglary. Malcolm Odai Graves, 20, of the 100 block of W. Jeffrey St., Baltimore, was charged in the warrant with the same offenses, police said.

The victims -- Edward Earl Stillman, 42, and Michael Paul David Schoonover, 19, both of the 7800 block of Quarterfield Road -- were not harmed in the incident. Police said three men armed with handguns had forced the pair into a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro after abducting them from a house in the 200 block of W. Meadow Road shortly before 3:30 a.m. Monday.

One of the men held Mr. Stillman at the house while the other two took Mr. Schoonover to an unknown location before he was released somewhere in Baltimore. All three forced Mr. Stillman into the car later, but he bolted from the Chevrolet when it stopped on Jeffrey Street and contacted police.

Mr. Stillman took down the tag numbers of the car, which police traced to a home on Edgevale Road where the arrest was made, authorities said.

Pair arrested Sunday on cocaine charges

A man and woman were arrested on drug charges Sunday morning in a motel room near the Beltway by a Northern District corporal investigating a complaint.

Cpl. Michael Belcher went to the room at the 6 Motel in the 5100 block of Raynor Ave. shortly before 11:30 a.m. He said a man answered the door and let him in, and that he noticed a nude woman standing near the sink, police said.

The corporal said the man gave him permission to search the room. He reported finding three small plastic bags with a residue of suspected crack cocaine in a trash can between the beds, and two homemade smoking devices in the trash can beside the sink. Corporal Belcher said he also searched the man and seized a small vial of suspected cocaine.

Thomas Theodore Eisenberg, 36, of the 7000 block of Surrey Drive, Baltimore, and Latonya Germaine Lee, 35, of the 800 block of W. Pratt St., Baltimore, were charged with possession of cocaine, police said.
