* Union Bridge: Union Bridge, New Windsor, Taneytown, Westminster and New Midway of Frederick County were dispatched to a kiln fire at Lehigh Portland Cement Co. on South Main Street in Union Bridge at 8:31 p.m. Monday. Fire officials said engines were called when lubricants around gear-driven machinery became overheated. Units were out for three hours.
