Late scores lift Virginia State to 13-0 win over Bowie State

BOWIE -- Virginia State (3-1, 3-0) rallied for two fourth-quarter touchdowns to defeat Bowie State, 13-0, in a Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association game yesterday.

Tight end Gary Warren scored on a 3-yard pass from Rodney Granger Jr. and Robert "Bo" Morgan went in from the 5 on the game's last play.

Bowie State (1-3, 1-3) was shut out for the third consecutive game. Virginia State's defense limited the Bulldog offense to 103 total yards. Each team was penalized 15 times, the Bulldogs for 139 yards and Trojans for 123.
