2,100 still without power

THE BALTIMORE SUN

Thursday's storm knocked out power to 130,000 customers in the metropolitan area, and about 2,100 remained without service last night, a Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. official said.

Most of those who didn't have power as of 10:20 last night were in Anne Arundel and Prince George's counties, which were among the hardest hit by the storm's heavy rain and gale-force winds, said Charles Franklin, a BGE spokesman.

All power should be restored by dawn today, Mr. Franklin said.
