CARJACKING: Northern District -- Two men, one with a handgun, ordered two men out of a 1985 Plymouth Horizon with unknown temporary tags in the 2400 block of Loyola Northway Wednesday and drove off.

THEFT: Northern District -- Police were seeking a man who stole several movie tapes from Blockbuster Video in the 400 block of E. 33rd St. Wednesday.

ROBBERY: Northwestern District -- A gunman robbed a resident of the 2700 block of Violet Ave. of $110 near the victim's home Wednesday.

ASSAULT/ARREST: Western District -- Police arrested a man Wednesday after he assaulted his wife, 4-month-old child and Officer Michael Humphrey when the officer attempted to break up a domestic argument between the couple in the 1100 block of W. Fairmount Ave. Wednesday. None of the injuries were serious.

STABBINGS/ARRESTS: North Point Precinct -- Police arrested a mother and her teen-age daughter Wednesday night in connection with the stabbing of two sisters following an altercation in the 100 block of Lee Lawrence Court in Turners Station. During the incident, someone broke a rear window of the house with a baseball bat. As the incident escalated, the two sisters were reportedly stabbed by a resident of the house and her daughter. The sisters were taken by ambulance to the Bayview Medical Center, where one was listed in critical condition and the other in fair condition. Charged with attempted murder was Gwendolyn Childers, 36, of the Lee Lawrence Court address, and her 16-year-old daughter.

BURGLARY: White Marsh Precinct -- Someone entered a house in the 1400 block of Spring Ave. Wednesday after breaking into an adjacent garage and stole a camcorder, jewelry and electronic equipment, all valued at more than $5,000.

BURGLARY: White Marsh Precinct -- A purse containing an undisclosed sum of money was stolen Wednesday by someone who entered a house in the first block of Trailwood Road through an unlocked door.
