Helen Virginia Jones Brown, 73, a former East Baltimore resident and receptionist for a pharmaceutical firm, died Friday of emphysema at her home in St. Michaels.

Services were held Monday. Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Randolph O. Brown; a son, David C. Brown of St. Michaels; two daughters, Joyce V. Field of Baltimore and Jean Ann Cooper of St. Michaels; two sisters, Hazel Gourley of Baltimore and Myrtle Madden of St. Michaels; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
