Junior Kasy Kruger scored a hat trick, including the game-winning goal with 12:44 left in the second overtime, to lead visiting UMBC (4-1, 2-0) to a 4-2 win over Towson State (2-5, 1-1) in women's soccer yesterday.
Kruger, who gave UMBC a 1-0 lead in the first half and a 2-1 edge in the second, stole a pass from Towson State goalkeeper Susie Blanco and scored the go-ahead goal. UMBC junior Denise Schilte added an insurance goal on a penalty kick with 4:14 remaining.
* Dundalk CC 4, Trinity CC 2: Carrie Falkenhan had a hat trick to pace visiting Dundalk (1-1). Tracy Conner added a goal for the Lions. Kathy Lush and Jennifer Mackinaw scored goals for Trinity (0-2).

* Catonsville CC 5, Hagerstown CC 0: Troy Hoskins scored a goal in each half to lead visiting Catonsville (4-0) past Hagerstown in a Maryland JuCo game. Ryan Beaumont made three saves for Catonsville.
