The shake-up in the Orioles front office continued yesterday when sales director Vince Dunbar became the latest veteran club official to announce his resignation.
Dunbar, 33, spent 10 years with the Orioles, including the past two as sales director. Among his duties was calming fans who call the Orioles seeking better locations for their season tickets at Camden Yards.
After leaving the Orioles at the end of the month, Dunbar will join Durrett-Sheppard Steel Co., a Baltimore firm, as a sales representative.
About 35 of the Orioles' 90 full-time employees have resigned or have been fired since last October, when lawyer Peter G. Angelos bought the team and began streamlining its operation.
