* Sykesville: Firefighters from the Sykesville station were dispatched to an auto fire in the 5600 block of Sykesville Road at 10:44 p.m. Saturday. Firefighters were out for 32 minutes.

Sykesville fire volunteers responded for wires arcing on Obrecht Road at 10:17 p.m. Sunday. They were out for 90 minutes waiting for the utility company to respond and repair the lines.
